Just throwing an idea into the pot..

Seeing as the other satations has got their own focuses, listeners know what their tuning into, however seeing as TGR is general gaming it's kind of pot luck what the show is behond the talkie hours.

So was thinking seeing as the D&D show is quite popular and so are the talkies, perhaps a few more focused areas should be looked at? For example stratagy gaming block for example things like Warcraft 3 and C&C3 are played out (C&C3 would be perfect for that TBH seeing as you can view the matches from the web), or thinking along the same lines FPS focused show? I dunno.. Just one of my random late night thoughts due to lack of sleep

Sounds like a cool idea, as Malone has started some RPG shows. Pity that Gungy doesn't really do any shows anymore, as he's a FPS-lover. Donno who could do more about RTS.

Yeah I see where you're coming from Krem...

We do have shows that are based around one specific genre, for instance Satal is a lotro whore, as is LOZa. Rob & Petto have their RPG show before me on Wednesdays, it's proving popular!

But I know my show tends to be more of a mish mash and is generally based on brief info on new technology/games/miscellaneous news and what we've been playing that week or our gaming experiences (last show was Crysis for instance).

I do mainly play FPS games, and Mister Bobby loves his strategy, so this is more than likely what you're gonna get when you tune into us.

Some folks shows are geared to a very specific subject, others are more varied, which generally reflects the average gamers game playing habits. Not everyone plays just FPS shooters or RTS games but tends to have a varied collection of genres they play.

The shows are designed to reflect this as much as possible, while main events or features are meant to delve deeply into a particular subject to either raise general awareness or discuss a specific issue / feature.

As always, listener participation is important. You tell us what you're playing or looking forward to getting your mits on and we'll likely discuss it.

I think Krem's point is not to mish mash games in every show but to make "items" of the various genres. Like discussing what's new on the market, or what's to be released in the upcoming months or within 1 or 2 years.

I fully understand that these radio sations are on voluntary basis and thus not obliged to set a certain standard or reach certain goals. But to give an example, and sorry for forgetting about you Rob ;), Malone had some nice talkies about old RPG games, FunkyBacon had given some nice reviews about PotBS, and maybe some guys could give such 'insights' into other games. Read up about it in advance. I know that some 'reviews' mean that DJs need to have played the games to give a good opinion about it, which would require them to buy the games, which can be a costly manner, so maybe you can get things sponsored.. I donno..

Just some thinking out loud. =)
