Just like it says in the title, TGR open recruitment is now officially live.
We've been holding off on open recruitment since the live launch of TGR in November due to wanting to test the waters and get our established prime time jocks well n truely entrenched into the schedule.
Now that's been done we're in a position where we can comfortably offer out the remaining slots to the gaming radio inclined masses.
To be considered for inclusion in the TGR family, you must first meet the minimum requirements for streaming detailed on the website. (http://recruitment.gamingradio.net) Providing that's all tickety boo, next thing you need to make sure is that you are prepared to give at least three hours a week for your particular show, will be relatively active in our irc staff and community channels and will be able to bring a heap load of gaming content to our already impressive lineup.
While we are looking for a good portion of generic gaming shows, we are also interested in specalised gaming topics, including (but not limited to) specific MMO titles, PC and Console gaming genres, handhelds and generic news and information for the listeners.
Joining the Gaming Radio Network as a DJ also immediately entitles you to look, act and be cool. You will be respected by your peers, envied by your listeners who will throw their pants at your feet. In addition, you'll be joining an experienced and varied clique of broadcast professionals who are eager to help mould and shape you into the sort of broadcaster you wanna be.
Applications will be dealt with via normal recruitment means although please allow upto 30 days for processing and testing as our recruitment team is currently dealing with a shed load of new year applicants for our other stations.
Good luck and I hope to see you on air soon.
