Hi, this is TotalBiscuit from WoW Radio. Just thought I'd give you guys at EvE Radio a big shout for being one of the disturbingly shrinking number of internet radio broadcast organisations to provide constant quality entertainment for your playerbase. We wish you all the best success in the future.

Thanks Biccie. Good luck to you and yours in this disturbingly worrying time for our brand of media.

Hey TotalBiscuit,
Thank you very much for the comment - it's great to see support from another organisation in the same space. More often than not, we see posts from other online stations saying something like "Come and listen to <insert name> radio, it's much better!"
So it really does mean a lot to us all to hear something like that from another well respected broadcasting network.
Thanks :)

Aye we get the same kinda thing, although we tend to take more fire from podcasts than other radio stations since the vast majority of what we do is talk and (at present) we don't air 24/7, despite doing our shows live and pushing 3-4 figure live listenership, it's our archives/podcasts that pull in the big numbers. What people fail to realise that on the internet radio front (rather than the podcasting front), we are all as broadcasters under the looming threat of organisations like the RIAA and major label lobbyists who'd rather we didn't exist because we don't play what they want us to play, and it's hurting their pocket (boo-frickin-hoo). I've been doing this since Live365's beta stages and seen all this crap go down and it's depressing, but also heartening that the major labels are getting so frantic as to resort to extreme measures to try and keep independent broadcasting and indy/unsigned talent away from the ears of the masses. Down with them, and let internet radio lead the final charge.
