pretty damn good review!

i liked the depth and the description of areas that most reviewers wouldent even delve into

also the personal view slant made it something to remember

however if there is going to be something i need to moan about it would be the structure so to speak, if there was like sections about each thing it would be good (jumping from technical standpoints, to graphical, to gameplay, to multi (etc) as well as perhaps a little history on the game (which in this case wasnt really needed, the witcher came outta the dark as far as the gaming community is concerned really)

although i have to say you described the gameplay very well, perhaps just dividing the bits into diffrent sections so its easier on the eye to read?

another thing that would be cool is have ratings on each part of the game, and then merge these in the end for the final score (ign does something like this that works quite well)

all that aside though i thought it was a great review, enjoyable, made me laugh in parts and most of all memorable (and a very good description on the gameplay)! most reviews on the net forget what it means to tell someone about a game nowadays

keep em coming bud!

Disecting it into sections would definitely make it more palatable - otherwise great review!

Are we going to have cover art etc displayed in future with a link to buy the game?

It is sorta broken down into sections, but I wrote it so it describes parts of the games early progression without giving too much of the plot away. When things of note happen and you're exposed to them for the first time, they get written about in the order you will most likely experience them.

True, I drift off topic a little at some places but when you're trying to be consistently detailed without getting bogged down in every tiny detail, it does tend to go on a bit.

I'm actually quite happy with the structure and the over all length and the idea of breaking it down into bullet point Graphics, Gameplay etc sections takes away some of the flowing progression for me. And besides, Im writing it from my personal standpoint, in an order that is logical and flowing to me.

come to think of it having some pictures that relate to the certain parts of the review would be pretty cool as well

(when the review is on about this hot redhead chick, have a picture on the right)

I liked the review Blades. I think your organic reviewing method was superb. If you keep it broken down, it seems pre-built and forced.

Any chance you can break it down for replay on the Standoff for Sunday night? I would love to include it in the show this week as the only gave we are reviewing this week is a sports title.

What you after? An audio recording of the review you can play or snippets from the on air review from the other night?

I can't do the latter, unfortunately, due to not recording it. Normally I would record it but the start problems I had meant I didn't pres the appropriate record button when I should have.

But the former I can probably do.
