Hey there!
What are the rules concerning sigs & avatar? I have an 80x80 gif of 3.3Kb uploaded, and a short text-only sig for the mo, as the avatar isnt showing.

I believe - but this is from memory - so might be rubbish,
that those features only work for staff

On a related note, to avoid spawning a multitude of redundant threads, what are the signature image rules? I don't know if it's a staff only option, but the signature page doesn't say what the maximum size allowed is.

Actually it says right there under "Upload"

" Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 50 by 50 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller). "

hmmm, dont want to sound stupid as this is probably blatently obvious i just cant see it.

How do you add an avatar as when ever i click the edit avatar link in the 'User CP' It just has a tick box that says do not use avatar and then the buttons save and reset. What am i doing wrong.:o

I'm pretty sure only GRN staff can use those features.
