Well you certainly lack patience, not to mention tact. Two qualities I think you'll find the recruitment staff tend to prefer seeing from applicants.
I wouldn't hold my breath.

One assumed that there would be an automated response, i wasn't even sure if the request had gone in or not, i didn't want to bombard with another applications form.
I didn't mean to come off rude. Text can be grossly misinterpreted. Oh well.

Mmm. Saying things like "didn't even receive the courtesy of <soandso>" will come across as fairly rude even in face-to-face vocal speech. Just a note. :)
Because I'm slightly bored right now (although I should be going to sleep) and forum activity is a Good Thing, here's a rephrased example that wouldn't come across as rude to anyone! Well, anyone I can think of.
"I applied over a week ago and haven't had any response, so I figured I'd follow up on it here. Did my application go through ok?"
It even gives the additional bit of information that you were concerned with your application being submitted in the first place! Don't mind me, I'm just going to sit over here and take an inordinate amount of sleepdeprived pride in my glorious rewordings.

Well reworded cogsworth, what he said. He's right my initial reply was a little abrasive.
I've gone from doing 3-4 shows a week on another channel (closed due to financial issues) to none, i just miss doing it.
