DJ Application ?

I was just wanting to check up on the status of my DJ application. I would truely love to start doing a show but it has been awhile and I have not heard anything back yet.

Anyhow I am not trying to be bothersome, just excited to hear back from GRN. You can find me just about any week day in the BiR irc channel.

LoJo - as stated on the recruitment website, we aim to respond within 2 weeks to those applications which are accepted.

I'd like to mention, just for info for everyone, that we are getting a lot of applications with information missing, such as address or date of birth - we can't accept incomplete applications & do not have time to chase the missing information. Please check and ensure you have completed the form 100% before submitting :)

Perhaps i would suggest re applying making sure to answer EVERYTHING fully if you dont hear after that then i'd assume not successful ;)

Our recruitment team do this voluntary based. They already spend countless hours of their free time on this process.

The recruitment site also clearly states:

If you have not heard back within two weeks you have been unsuccessful with your application at this time.

I have applied to jobs before in the past and have not heard anything back, this usually gives an obvious explanation that no you weren't suitable for this role at this time.

What attitude?! I merely thought it couteous to reply, and i agree we've all had those job interview where you've not heard anything. It doesn't make it right.

Hrm ok, well I'll fill out the application this one last time, and if I dont hear something in two weeks I'll assume I'm not GRN material or something.

Ok, I resubmitted my application. I was very careful not to leave anything blank that should be filled in. I very much hope you will read it and consider me for the BiR DJ position. I absolutly love the BiR and GRN community and I really hope I can contribute in a more significant way than just being a listener. None the less, if I am not accepted I will still love everyone, and listen to your radio shows. Thank you for your quick responses.
